Career Success Mentors

Guiding neurodivergent professionals to rise without compromise

About Me

If you’ve ever felt out of place at work – no matter how hard you try, you just can’t “fit in” – you’re not alone.

I’ve spent most of my life feeling the same way.

I grew up in the 1980s, when no one talked about ADHD or Autism. At school, I was the kid who couldn’t sit still, who asked too many questions, who was “bright but unfocused.” I wasn’t the cool one – I was the loud one, the strange one. I was bullied, misunderstood, and I was convinced there was something wrong with me.

College in the 1990s didn’t make things easier. I could never follow the structure everyone else seemed to manage effortlessly. I’d overperform one week and fall apart the next. By adulthood, that pattern had followed me into my career.

Over the years, I’ve had more than 20 jobs. I’d start strong, full of energy and ideas – but eventually crash into burnout, confusion, or rejection. I struggled in relationships, both at work and personally. I wanted so badly to belong, but somehow I always seemed to get it wrong.

For decades, I was misdiagnosed with a range of mental health conditions. I tried therapy, medication, and mindset changes, but nothing ever truly fit. Then one day, I got the answers that changed everything: ADHD and Autism.

That moment felt like being born again. Suddenly, the chaos of my life made sense. The way I think, feel, and process the world – it wasn’t wrong. It was different.

And once I understood that, everything changed.

I stopped trying to be “normal” whatever that means – I stopped apologising for thinking differently. And I started learning how to work with my wiring instead of against it.

Now, I mentor others like me – the innovators, the deep thinkers, the ones who see the world differently but have been made to feel like they don’t belong in it.

I teach neurodivergent professionals how to:

  • Navigate workplaces that weren’t built for them — without losing themselves
  • Turn their differences into recognised strengths
  • Play the corporate game strategically while staying authentic
  • Build careers that fit who they are, not who they’re told to be

Because being different isn’t a limitation. It’s a competitive advantage.

You’re not broken – you’re brilliantly wired.
And once you understand that, you stop surviving… and start thriving.
